Hi, I’m Adrian Marquez

I bring a unique perspective to the field of counseling—I spent 16 years in the Marine Corps as a Reconnaissance Marine and Marine Special Operations – Critical Skills Operator.  During this time I served as a Sniper, Combatant Diver, military free-fall, Force Reconnaissance Team Leader, and Special Operations Team Chief.

After receiving combat related injuries, I was awarded a purple heart and was led to transition my career.  During my transition I felt the call to help others strive toward wellness through the field of counseling. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology at Campbell University and my Masters is in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.  I am also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

I bring a unique perspective toward working with first responders, service members, veterans, government workers, military families and the issues they face because of my background.  However that does not limit my therapeutic interest.  I am also drawn to work with those who have anxiety, depression, relationship complications, or experienced trauma.  My approach is Adlerian and I employ a Cognitive Behavioral framework in treatment.  When requested I will gladly include spiritual and Christian values into my treatment.

There isn't an effective "one-size-fits-all" approach when it comes to mental health. We work with our clients and listen to their particular issue and deliver a whole-person treatment so that they may get back to their lives, feel empowered to start anew, and reconnect with their loved ones.

Reach out to us today. Together we can explore ways overcome you adversities. You can count on our certified professionals to help.
